Personal Statement
I am a RAF Air Cadet with an interest in engineering, aerospace, horses and other livestock. I am used to hard work, mud and outdoor activity in all weathers! Good with time management and project management especially priorising jobs/tasks related to essential animal care and homework/project tasks.
I am also a young carer for my mother (having previously saved her life), and support several homeless charities including Threshold Housing and Homeless Veterans UK as well as volunteer as a poppy collector for the RBL Poppy Appeal each year. I am especially proud of my first aid qualifications/instruction and my mental health training. I have had experience of a range of serious first aid emergencies as well as regularly performing my mental health advocate role in Air Cadets

Work Experience
Holmes for Paws – Animal Care – August 2022 to Date
I assistant with looking after a variety of dogs, cats and other animals while their owners are away. Dogs stay for a few days or weeks with Holmes for Paws and I have made many new doggy friends. I have also previously cared for a Rex rabbit as part of Holmes for Paws. I take pride in treating each animal as an individual and learning about their personalities and needs, especially with some of the more nervous ones!
- Drop in visits while owners are away either at work or on holiday

Baby Sitting – August 2022 to Date
I started baby sitting for family friends in our village in the summer of 2022. Regularly caring for infant and junior school aged children. This may be for parents that are having a well deserved dates night out or have professional engagements they need to attend. Sometimes I am there during the day but often I will care for the children until late into the evening when I provide snacks, maybe dinner and lots of fun games and activities!
Team Graney – Family Equestrian Team – August 2011 to Date
I have gradually built up experience over a number of years helping with all aspects of yard and equine management. This can be physically demanding but allows me to get outdoors and not stuck inside!
- Assisting with the management of our private equestrian facitlies our 5 horses and rescue chickens
- Stock control and ordering – hay, bedding and feed – every 2 weeks
- Paddock maintenance – fencing, harrowing, rolling, drainage and water troughs
- Assisting with vet and farrier visits as required
Air Salvage International, GCAM & Skyline Aero Group – Work Experience – July 2022
