Below is a reference from Adam at ASI (Air Salvage International) who was one of my supervisors during my Year 10 work experience placement in July 2022.
“I am a parts processor at ASI and worked with Izzy during her placement. We organised plane parts and prepared them for shipping including loading up the containers. We checked and tested the engines of a 747. Izzy and I also helped with the removal of parts on a 747 for a customer.
For the last few days of her placement we helped with the removal of the cockpit of a 747, including safe removal by crane onto the back of a flat bed lorry for delivery. Izzy has been busy checking parts and cleaning them prior to storage or delivery as well.
I was very impressed with her attitude and work ethic. We would be happy to have her back full time!”
