Each summer and at various times throughout the year I work for my father in his Garden Elf gardening business. He provides garden care and garden maintenance services across north Wiltshire and south Gloucestershire. He ised to be head gardener on a large private estate but in 2017 he started his own business and now works in a large variety of gardens. My mother does is accounts and all his marketing too so it is a real family business!

Sometimes if there is a big project that Garden Elf is doing I will help out with it. In the past this has involved me driving the mini digger, weeding and many other tasks.
Photography Services for Garden Elf
I have always had an interest in photography, regularly photographing our horses and at air shows. Several years ago I was given my first Canon DSLR camera which I still love especially when I need a fast shutter speed or a super long lens. However for the majority of Garden Elf photography I use my smart phone these days. Most smart phones have high pixel level cameras built in and offer a range of great options so make a really great mobile solution.
My role is to capture great images for our website and social media which either myself or my mother can use for marketing purposes. Images may include before and after comparisions, examples of work or simply beautiful flowers or demonstrations of skills.
Graphics for Marketing
Ensuring that my father always has a steady flow of work and potential new customers for the business is essential. I therefore help to develop new graphics along side my mother (she is a marketing manager for a very large national company) for use across the website and social media. Working within brand guidelines and making use of template layouts I will edit photos and then add them to our image library for either late use or possible campaigns or theme days.
